thirteen.

This has been a great weekend. My best friend from high school visited and we had a blast.

We baked and cooked some good food.

We hung out and relaxed.

And we are ready to spit like movie stars do.

It was a great weekend.

twelve.

It's been a month since I wrote here. A lot has happened.

1. I went to Germany for ten days to visit my old school.
2. My family moved.
3. I broke my toe.

I broke my toe on a glass bottle that fell from the top of the fridge. It hurt a LOT and it is now taped. This is my third broken toe in my life. My third toe in the last three years. It would be a toe a year, but I broke two in one summer. 30% of my toes. Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the toe.

When I broke my toe, I went upstairs and sat in my room for a while. One of the first thoughts that went through my mind was, "I need to get an old person's shower chair so I can sit down while I shower." But that is not necessary now I guess. It's weird what pain will do to you.

Anyhoo, have a fabulous day and a wonderful summer! School starts for me on Monday and I can't wait.

eleven.

so my friend is making me post. This is for you Kate.

The weather is beautiful. Summer is wonderful. I'm actually reading for fun! I'm reading this book.

Which reminds me...did anyone watch the Great Gatsby movie? I went to the premiere and it was amazing. I loved it. And the soundtrack was really great too.

And speaking of books, does anyone need some Post war German novels? Because I have 6 I want to sell that no one will buy. Thank you.

Happy summer to all.

Endurance is patience concentrated.
~Thomas Carlyle

Patience is the art of hoping.
~Luc de Clapiers

Endurance is nobler than strength, and patience than beauty.
~John Ruskin

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Patience is the name of the game. Strength for today and hope for tomorrow. 11 days of school left. Here we go.
