Endurance is patience concentrated.
~Thomas Carlyle

Patience is the art of hoping.
~Luc de Clapiers

Endurance is nobler than strength, and patience than beauty.
~John Ruskin

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Patience is the name of the game. Strength for today and hope for tomorrow. 11 days of school left. Here we go.

οκτώ.

This week has been a lot about my future, what I'm going to do this summer. I have spent all semester worrying about what I was going to do during May, June, July and August. My chapel buddy had a million things planned for this summer and I had about 3 possible things I could do.

But God stepped in. I'm still waiting to hear back, but my application has been forwarded to some national parks, North Cascades National Park and Yosemite National Park. If those don't work out, I'll simply go to summer school and get a job. Either way, I think I simply need to trust.

Two things I've been learning this semester are trust and patience. It's not my life: God has full control and I need to focus on what He wants me to do.

On a totally different note, watch this trailer for the Great Gatsby. I am so excited for it to come out. Plus, I love Florence + the Machine and her new song in this trailer at the end.
